As Vice President and Design Director, Heidi plays an integral role in shaping both the creative vision and day-to-day operations of DeLauter. She leads the company's commercial design initiatives, guiding projects from initial concept through the final details with an eye for both function and design. Every design decision is made with the client's vision in mind, creating spaces that are both purposeful and inviting.
Beyond design, Heidi oversees the company's branding and marketing efforts while serving as the primary contact for DeLauter's HR and IT partners. Her ability to bridge the creative and business sides of the company helps create an exceptional experience for both employees and clients, ensuring every part of DeLauter works together with purpose.

A Foundation Built on Family, Creativity, and Vision
Heidi's professional journey spans law and interior design, two disciplines grounded in precision, attention to detail, and problem-solving. She began her career as a paralegal, where she developed strong organizational skills and attention to detail that continue to influence her approach to design and business. Those experiences took on new meaning when she co-founded DeLauter, Inc. with her husband, Steve.
DeLauter was named in honor of Heidi's grandmother, reflecting the family values that remain at the heart of the business. Today, with their son, Steve Jr., part of the team, the company continues as a proud multi-generational family business.
Heidi's design expertise has been shaped through years of renovating homes, leading custom new-construction projects, and creating complete interior environments. She brings that experience to every commercial project, combining creativity with practical solutions to create spaces that are functional, welcoming, and tailored to each client's needs.
