This summer was an exciting season for Delauter Inc., filled with major milestones, ongoing progress, and strong partnerships. As the months warmed up, so did our dedication to delivering projects on time, on budget, and above expectations.
Project Highlights
Breaking Ground for Andy’s Frozen Custard – Midwest Region Early July marked the groundbreaking of a new location for Andy’s Frozen Custard in the Midwest region, set to bring a sweet new addition to the community.
Starky Plaza Redevelopment – Southeast Region Our Southeast Division made major progress on Starky Plaza in Pinellas County for an Ohio-based developer. This multifaceted project included partial demolition of the shopping center, complete site work for a new convenience store pad (with an underground storm storage system), and new landscaping and irrigation for the redeveloped property. We also relocated multiple tenants within the retail center, providing new interior build-outs to keep operations running smoothly. The project is on track for completion by the end of August.
Golden Corral Renovation – Ocala, FL A fast-paced, $1,000,000+ renovation of a Golden Corral in Ocala was completed in just over 30 days. Despite the tight timeline, our team managed extensive interior and exterior work—including new flooring, paint, and fully renovated restrooms, while keeping the restaurant open during two weeks of the renovation.
Perspire Sauna – Bradenton, FL We recently wrapped up a beautiful new location for Perspire Sauna, featuring polished concrete floors, premium finishes, elegant showers, and individual sauna suites designed for maximum privacy and comfort.
Starbucks Remodel – Chicago Premium Outlets Our Midwest Division is currently remodeling a Starbucks at the busy Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora, IL. The project includes upgraded finishes, refreshed interiors, new casework, and updated mechanical systems to enhance efficiency and customer comfort. All work is being carefully phased to minimize disruptions in one of the area’s highest-traffic retail destinations, ensuring Starbucks can continue to serve shoppers throughout the remodel.
Altitude Trampoline Park – Schaumburg, IL We also celebrated the completion of a major project for Altitude Trampoline Park in Schaumburg, Illinois. The build-out transformed a large interior space into a dynamic family entertainment venue, featuring custom trampoline courts, foam pits, party areas, and modern finishes designed for both fun and safety. Delivered right on schedule, the project provides a new destination for recreation and community gatherings in the Chicago suburbs.
Community Engagement
This season, we were proud to sponsor the Home of the Sparrow Charity Golf Outing 2025, an event that brought the community together in support of a meaningful cause. It was a great opportunity to connect with others, give back, and show our commitment to the people and organizations that make a positive impact in our area.
Looking Ahead to Fall
With the momentum of summer carrying forward, the fall promises more progress, including:
Starting concrete pours for Andy’s Frozen Custard – Midwest Region.
Breaking ground on Cali Coffee in Palm Harbor, FL—an exciting new ground-up build with full site and interior construction.
Completing the exterior of the Riverside Civic Center.
Preparing for Tropical Smoothie Café builds in Naples and Parrish, FL, with projected starts this fall.
Starting the Select Medical buildout in North Ft Myers, FL—continuing a valued partnership with a longtime client.
Continuing progress on the Starbucks remodel at Chicago Premium Outlets, with upgraded finishes and systems scheduled for completion later this summer.
Recently celebrating the grand opening of Altitude Trampoline Park in Schaumburg, IL, following the successful completion of construction earlier this year.
At Delauter Inc., summer proved that the season is for building — not just structures, but stronger teams, communities, and futures.
