With experience managing day-to-day jobsite operations and keeping projects on track, Lucas plays a key role in ensuring quality execution from start to finish.

How long have you been with DeLauter, and what first brought you to the company?

“I’ve been with DeLauter for about two and a half years. About six years ago, I worked for a company that partnered with DeLauter, so I already had firsthand experience with the quality of their work and the strength of the team.”

How has your role at DeLauter evolved since you first started?

“Over time, I’ve become more confident and efficient in managing job sites and communicating with team members in the field.”

What has been the biggest change as your responsibilities have grown?

“The biggest change has been ensuring everything runs smoothly on a day to day basis while staying on schedule and keeping projects on track.”

What does a typical day look like for you in your current position?

“A typical day includes opening and closing the job site, coordinating subcontractors, addressing any on site issues, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.”

What do you find most rewarding about your role and the work you support?

“The most rewarding part is seeing a project through from start to finish and delivering a high quality result.”

How has DeLauter evolved since you first started, and what has kept you here?

“The company has continued to grow and strengthen its operations. What has kept me here is the strong team environment and the people I work with.”

What’s one project, initiative, or accomplishment you’re especially proud of during your time at DeLauter?

“One of my proudest moments was being told by the manager of Chicago Premium Outlets that we were the best general contractor they had worked with in quite some time.”

What skills or qualities do you think are most important for success in a role like yours?

“Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills are essential for success in this role.”

What advice would you give to someone new to DeLauter or just starting out in construction?

“Be willing to learn, ask questions, and take pride in your work.”

When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?

“I enjoy spending time with my wife and friends, playing video games, and golfing whenever I

get the chance.”
